The Raven and The Peacock

This animation follows a small Raven themed monk named Brother Ren, as he is teased by a far more flashy semi-corporeal peacock, Brother Pavo. Ren, unlike Pavo, is unable to fly, so me utilises his keen wit to outsmart Pavo into giving back a stolen telescope.

The telescope was chosen as I could imagine this animation taking place in a high fantasy world where wooden ships would fly through magical or mechanical means. The magical telescope would be needed to locate ships in the fog and warn any of the tower's presence if they got too close. The tower's twisted spire in early concept art is a nod to this.
