The Lantern Men

The visuals for this animation were completed entirely by me. Featuring the voice acting of my dad for Joseph's sigh and grumbles. I challenged myself to tell the story without any dialogue or narration.

This animation follows the events leading up to Joseph Bexfield’s mysterious death in 1809. Disappearing into the dangerous marshlands to receive a forgotten parcel, he was found dead days later. He had drowned, which was strange, given he was a strong swimmer...
